THE LONG ROAD
Dale's Journey to drum building started in an unusual way -- as a guitar luthier's apprentice. It was at this time that he honed his eye for fine details and developed a commitment to high-quality finishes.
He later learned under the tutelage of John Craviotto, the godfather of boutique drums. He has since partnered with Grover Pro Percussion and Arnie Lang of Lang Percussion by both building shells and finishing drums. Dale has spent years experimenting and perfecting the steam bending technique.
His understanding of this unique style of drum building coupled with his eye for decadent finishes creates these Vigentdrums that are a pleasure to both the eye and the ear and are just fun to play.
